Salmon Sashimi

Sashimi, Japanese delicacy, consisting of very fresh raw meat or fish sliced into thin pieces.

I never could understand why people love raw meat or fish and would cringe at the sight of people eating it. Because being a Food & Nutrition teacher, I teach students about the dangers of consuming raw food and food that are not cooked through. Until one day, I didn't know what came into me and the rest was history!

If you must have salmon sashimi, do to to Sushi Tei. They serve decent sashimi that's fresh and juicy. But don't forget to dip it in some wasabi and soya sauce.

Remember that no matter how fresh the sashimi is, eat in moderation. You do not know how much raw food your body can take.

Because sharing is caring
